Hankook Tire Co. was chosen as original equipment supplier for the Volkswagen Touran as well as the Audi A4 and A4 Avant.
The Volkswagen Touran will be shoed with Hankook’s Ventus Prime2 Sealguard tires in size 215/55R17.
The Ventus Prime2 Sealguard is a run flat tire that allows drivers to continue driving even in the event of a puncture, the tiremaker said.
This is the first OE fitment for Hankook’s Sealguard tires.
The latest generation of Audi A4 and A4 Avant will be fitted with Ventus S1 evo² in sizes 225/50R17Y. Additionally, some vehicles will feature the extra load version of the Ventus S1 evo² in 245/40R18Y (XL) and 245/35R19Y (XL).
The Ventus S1 evo² provides precise handling, outstanding braking ability and high directional stability, Hankook said. The tire also features improved low rolling resistance and lower noise.
