BFGoodrich ‘Are You Driver Enough’ Tour Visits Cleveland

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMichelin North America’s BFGoodrich brand hosted its “Are You Driver Enough” dealer educational tour yesterday at the I-X Center in Cleveland to promote its G-Force Comp-2 A/S and All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires.

At the event, the tiremaker shared it will launch one new tire every year for the next five to six years.

BFGoodrich enthusiasts who raced on BFG tires, including Andrew Comrie-Picard, Kyle Tucker, Rich Minga and Bob Bower, helped host the event, where approximately 60 tire dealers received education on both tires’ technology before putting the G-Force Comp-2 A/S to the test.

The G-Force Comp-2 A/S all-season tire replaces the G-Force Super Sport A/S and features UltiGrip technology, G-Force tread and a performance racing core for traction on both dry and wet road conditions.dealer_tour

Participants had the chance to test the tire’s abilities against its competitors, by navigating a wet and dry autocross and braking course, featuring panic stops, slalom and curves.

At the All-Terrain T/A KO2 light truck tire session, dealers were able to learn more about the tire’s new design and technology. Created with the spirit of Baja racing, the tire replaces its predecessor (All-Terrain T/A KO) and features 20% tougher sidewalls, longer treadlife and better winter and all-season traction, the tiremaker said.

Cleveland was BFGoodrich’s 17th stop on its 21 location tour that started in Los Angeles in April and will conclude in August.
