Wix Promotes National Sales Manager, Restructures Team

Wix Filters has appointed Mike Harvey, former brand manager, to serve as the company’s national sales manager. Additionally, Wix has restructured its sales team to better position the company to meet its strategic and sales goals, it said.

Harvey started his career with Wix as a territory manger in Texas. In 1994, he joined the Carquest Filters team as district sales manager. He is a graduate of Miami University and holds the Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) designation from Northwood University.

Additionally, Wix has added Jay Anderson to serve as national trainer and has reorganized its sales teams by region. New leadership for the regions are below:
Tom Wilkinson – Business Development Manager, South Central
Bill Meyer – Business Development Manager, West
John Rozegnal – Business Development Manager, Midwest
Dan Rauso – Business Development Manager, Northeast
Bryan Watson – Business Development Manager, Southeast

Yokohama Rubber has signed a partnership agreement with Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing’s Haupt Racing Team (HRT). As part of the Advan Challenge that seeks to maximize sales of Advan tires, Yokohama Rubber said it is aiming for victories at the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race and Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie (NLS) by supplying its Advan racing tires for the Mercedes-AMG GT3 being entered in those races by HRT.
