Pirelli introduced the P Zero All Season Plus – an ultra-high performance all-season replacement tire that provides maximum performance in all weather conditions – at this week’s SMEA Show/Global Tire Expo.

Pirelli said the P Zero All Season Plus – suitable for all major sports cars, sports coupes and performance sedans – features the most innovative compounds, structures and tread design to deliver exceptional handling and grip mile after mile in all weather conditions.

“The launch of the new is yet again another sign of Pirelli’s strong commitment to the U.S. market. We’re also proud that this product, tailored specifically for the U.S., has been produced locally here in North America at our Silao factory in Mexico,” said Paolo Ferrari, CEO/chairman of Pirelli NAFTA.

The tire offers inner block winter siping technology for improved snow traction performance, as well as lateral siping on the outer blocks to ensure maximum cornering performance, dry grip and improved aquaplaning resistance, according to the tiremaker. The P Zero All Season Plus, which carries a 50,000-mile treadwear warranty, also offers excellent wet and dry traction with shorter stopping distances, enhanced safety and control in aquaplaning situations, and an optimized tread pattern that reduces noise inside the vehicle, Pirelli added.

The tire currently is available in 15 sizes, with 32 sizes to follow in 2015 and 24 additional sizes to be added in 2016 for a total of 71 sizes.
