Tyrexpo Africa to Return to Johannesburg in 2014

Exhibition organizer ECI International has confirmed that tire and workshop equipment exhibition Tyrexpo Africa will return to the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa, on March 4-6, 2014.

Managing director Paul Farrant said, "We are delighted to confirm that Tyrexpo Africa will once again be returning to the Sandton Convention Centre, which has proved to be an excellent host venue for the show since it was first launched in 2006.

"In 2012 the exhibition continued to establish itself as a major event in the aftermarket calendar, attracting more exhibitors and visitors than ever before. With over 140 businesses on show and delegates from more than 70 African and international countries, Tyrexpo Africa has become a major business opportunity for the tire and equipment sector."

ECI says the exhibition provides southern Africa’s only dedicated opportunity for the tire, technology and service equipment industries to exhibit in a trade-only business environment. In 2014 the show will again feature a full range of products covering tires and equipment for passenger cars, trucks, mining, agricultural and industrial applications from leading domestic and international suppliers. GRI recently conducted programs in Sri Lanka to empower women and motivate children under its Green x Circle initiative. The company said these endeavors aimed to address the needs of the community, focusing on both women empowerment and youth motivation.

GRI recently organized a training program titled "Management of household finance under current economic conditions" at the Ingiriya Rubber Collecting Center in Sri Lanka, South Asia led by Shashika Nimali, an NLP practitioner and life coach. The company said this initiative provided women in the industry with essential skills and knowledge to effectively manage household finances. GRI's tailored training sessions equipped participants with tools for informed decision-making, ultimately fostering greater financial security and independence, the company said.
