The two sides held talks from June to September but have not had significant negotiations on a new master contract since then, primarily to see how the USW-Goodyear talks progressed.
Neither side speculated as to when contract negotiations would restart, but it is expected that BFNAT and the USW will take time to review the details of the new Goodyear and Michelin contracts before heading back to St. Louis, where contract talks have been held.
Some 6,000 BFNAT workers at eight plants are represented by the USW.
