Maxxis Signs Up for Brityrex International 2007

(Clacton, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Maxxis International is the first of the major tyre manufacturers to confirm it is to attend Brityrex International, which takes place at the G-MEX Convention Centre in Manchester on May 1-3, 2007.

All exhibitors will be located in one hall with 10,500 square metres of space and the Maxxis stand will be in a prime position adjacent to the entrance.

Maxxis is continuing to develop its credentials within the PCR market while also expanding its UK product portfolio and is actively looking to recruit specialist distributors for its new light and heavy truck tyres.

“We are aiming to grow our share of the U.K. market and exhibiting at Brityrex International, the UK’s only independent tyre trade event, gives an important opportunity to identify new contacts as well as develop existing relationships,” says Derek McMartin, managing director of Maxxis International UK.

“Brityrex International will provide us with the platform to reinforce our commitment to distributor Group Tyre and help the company promote the Maxxis PCR range as well as talk directly to tyre retailers – the owners and fitters who are in a key position to influence customer choice at the point of sale.

“The NTDA’s decision to sponsor Brityrex International and stage its annual conference in Manchester at the same time is a major plus and should encourage around 500 key buyers and decision makers to attend the exhibition.”
