Lassa ‘Official Tire Partner’ of FC Barcelona

Brisa, Europe’s seventh largest tiremaker and owner of the Lassa Tyres brand, has signed a sponsorship deal with FC Barcelona, making the tire manufacturer a global partner for the next four years.

Under the global partnership rights, the club’s basketball, handball, futsal and roller hockey teams will officially be named as “FC Barcelona Lassa.”

In addition, over the course of the partnership, world famous FC Barcelona stars such as Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., Luis Suárez, Andrés Iniesta, Juan Carlos Navarro, Víctor Tomàs, Sergio Lozano and Aitor Egurrola will star in Lassa Tyres’ promotional advertising campaigns. The brand’s logo will appear on the jerseys worn by Navarro and Tomić for 4 years.

The partnership deal also offers comprehensive branding and promotional rights to be fulfilled by Lassa Tyres through its global network of distributors, suppliers, employees and other main stakeholders.

The agreement was signed June 2 at FC Barcelona’s facilities and was attended by Brisa CEO Hakan Bayman and FC Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu. An official partnership ceremony is expected to be held at Camp Nou by the beginning of the 2015-16 season.

Lassa Tyres manufactures and sells a wide range of consumer and commercial tires in more than 60 countries worldwide together with 80 international partners. There are some 1,200 points of sale in Turkey and 122 Lassa Tyres stores abroad.
