Expanded AAIA Factbook Now Available

(Akron/Tire Review) Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association’s 2007/2008 Aftermarket Factbook (Expanded Version) is now available.

The 310-page report contains both the traditional AAIA Aftermarket Factbook and, through exclusive rights granted by Lang Marketing Resources, the Lang Aftermarket Annual 2007-2008 with analysis.

AAIA’s traditional Aftermarket Factbook is also now available. This year’s edition includes an additional 32 pages and sample data from the Lang Aftermarket Annual.  

Also this year, AAIA is offering an enhanced version of the eFactbook containing an interactive presentation of the printed Factbook, with PowerPoint slides for all of the data. This will provide users with a readily available customized presentation for each section of the report. The home page offers quick navigation to easily select the desired section of data. The eFactbook includes a printable PDF of the entire Factbook.

During the Michelin Sustainability Summit held at the Sonoma Raceway, members of the company's leadership put a spotlight on the strides Michelin is making in sustainable tire manufacturing. A panel representing the crux of Michelin's operations – design, manufacturing, and delivery – was comprised of Nathália Hasselmann, the plant manager of Michelin's passenger car tire facility in Greenville, South Carolina; George Kurian, vice president of supply chain and logistics for Michelin North America; and Cyril Roget, Group Scientific Innovation and Communications Director for Michelin.
