Continental Airs Commercials with Dan Patrick

Continental Tire has begun airing two new 30-second college basketball commercials featuring Dan Patrick, host of the Dan Patrick Show.danpartick

Continuing Continental Tire’s existing partnership with the Dan Patrick Show, the ad campaign follows an “Ode To Basketball” theme with spots entitled “Distractor,” which focuses on the importance of the college basketball fans during games, and “Buzzer Beater,” which shows the difference one shot can make at the end of a game.

“We were thrilled that Dan signed on for these commercials in support of our college basketball program,” said Travis Roffler, director of marketing for Continental Tire. “We want fans to know that we understand their passion for college basketball and we love the game too. Dan was a great way to help deliver this message to such a dedicated audience. Over time, our shared passion will hopefully result in trust and loyalty and that’s ultimately where you want the relationship to be.”

The commercials will air nationally during college basketball games across FOX, ESPN and the CBS Sports Network in support of Continental Tire’s 31 university partnerships and 12 tournament sponsorships, the tiremaker said. The commercials will also air on five regional networks including, Raycom Sports, Pac-12 Network, SEC Network, Big 10 Network, and Big 12 Network.

As part of the tiremaker’s partnership agreements with college basketball teams, Continental Tire will implement a total of 34 in-arena activations at games across the country. Continental Tire will also be the exclusive and official sponsor of the 2016-2017 season-long overtime broadcast segments on ESPN.
