The long-awaited Brityrex 2010 exhibition got underway this week, with a significant increase in visitor traffic compared to the same point in the last show back in 2007.
Apaseal’s Bruce Somerville, who is exhibiting at the show, described it as “the best start to Brityrex for many years.” Official figures have not yet been released, however exhibition organizer ECI International is expected to confirm these observations when it releases initial show figures this week.
In the meantime, there has been a noticeable increase in both international visitors and exhibitors. In fact, not only are there more international companies in attendance, but these companies are also clearly investing more in their appearances, with Chinese manufacturers Techking and South China Tire and Rubber Ltd. occupying some of the largest stands at the show.
There has also been significantly more interest from the garage equipment sector, with companies such as Hofmann Megaplan hosting a stand almost twice the size of its 2007 booth. The garage equipment companies have also been joined by a number of firms offering TPMS solutions such as Autogem, Steelmate Automotive and Tyresensors.com. (Tyres & Accessories)
