This event will be presented jointly by Messe Frankfurt, producer of what will now be a dozen Automechanika shows across the globe, and Business Information Group, publisher of more than 90 media products in Canada.
With more than 250 exhibitors and 4,000 visitors anticipated to participate in the event, Automechanika Canada looks likely to become Canada’s leading trade show, covering the entire aftermarket spectrum. Automechanika Canada will be held Sept. 26-28 at the International Centre in Toronto.
Automechanika reports that its shows have been experiencing record exhibitor and visitor numbers around the world. The largest and original Automechanika, Automechanika Frankfurt, reported more than 165,000 visitors to its 2006 show, 40% of them from outside of Germany. These visitors reportedly included a significant increase in top decision makers from previous years. In addition, 96 per cent of all visitors responding to surveys commented that they were satisfied with the exhibits and product groups at the show.
At Automechanika Canada, a wide range of products covering all aspects of the automotive aftermarket will be on display. Featured product groups will include parts and systems, accessories and tuning, repair and maintenance, service station and car wash, and tyres and wheels.
Automechanika Canada is promoted as being the only show in the Canadian market dedicated to all facets of the automotive aftermarket. Additional programs will include conference sessions featuring product innovation and technical training, career opportunities for apprentices and students, product demonstrations, and industry displays. This three-day event will offer exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their products to thousands of service and repair owners, technicians, installers, jobbers, media, and industry professionals.
