TIA has announced more dates for its traveling 2012 Certified Automotive Tire Service Instructor Training Tour.
Added to the tour was a May 22-25 stop at Mid-Florida Tech in Orlando.
The four-day classes are held at local community, junior and technical colleges in nearly 30 cities across the U.S.
Upcoming classes are set for April 17-20 at Joliet Junior College, Joliet, Ill.; May 8-11 at the City of Long Beach Municipal Training Facility in Long Beach, Calif.; May 15-18 at the Dakota County Technical College, Rosemount, Minn.; and May 22-25 at Central Georgia Tech, Macon, Ga.
The Certified ATS Instructor Program is an in-depth classroom and hands-on class that industry professionals must successfully complete in order to return to the dealership(s) to train technicians to prepare them for certification. It also includes a full day of instruction on TPMS so technicians have a thorough understanding of the requirements for the most popular domestic and import vehicles.
