Mickey Thompson Shows Off New Racing Products

Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels will display its enhanced ET Drag Slick, added sizes of its Pro-5 Rear Drag Wheel and new 19- and 20-inch ET Street Radial II sizes at the Performance Racing Industry Show, Dec. 9-11 in Orlando, Fla.

The ET Drag Slick has undergone design improvements for enhanced air retention, which translate to improved performance, less maintenance and longer tire life, according to the company. The tire also is designed for maximum traction with construction and compounds for reliable performance and elapsed times.

Six new sizes of MT’s Pro-5 Rear Drag Wheel are available: 10×8, 10, 12, 14, 15 and 16×16. The new wheels come in 5 on 4.5 and 5 on 4.75 bolt patterns in various back spaces for popular drag race fitments. Each wheel is drilled for 5/8-inch drive studs. All Pro-5 Drag Wheels are one-piece, fully CNC machined, rotary-forged aluminum and are highly polished.

The new ET Street Radial II sizes – P305/35R19 and P305/35R20 – are scheduled for availability early in 2011. The tire, a tubeless steel-belted radial with a soft compound and low void directional tread, features sidewall construction designed for fast acceleration, according to the company.
