Green Best Practices Revealed at TIA Symposium

At the upcoming TIA Environmental Symposium, Sierra Piedmont’s Scott Pate and Debbie Strawhand will provide attendees with valuable tips on how to be “green” and competitive.

The Environmental Symposium will be held Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at the Ocean City Convention Center in Ocean City, Md.
In their session, “Environmental Best Practices for the Tire and Service Station Dealer,” Sierra CEO Pate, and Strawhand, client program manager, will discuss environmental best management practices drawn from their experience serving thousands of retail automotive facilities over the past 15 years. Sierra Piedmont is a national leader in environmental consulting, site assessments, compliance and remediation. Businesses from Fortune 100 companies to regional firms in all 50 states rely on their advice, guidance and support to solve their environmental problems and limit liability.

“Tire and service station dealers have a unique opportunity to hear from experts on how to make ‘going green’ into the competitive differentiator they’re looking for,” said Dick Gust, TIA Environmental Advisory Council co-chair. “Opportunities to hear from world-class experts like Scott Pate and Debbie Strawhand are not frequently available, and that’s why if you are a tire or service station dealer, you should be at the TIA Environmental Symposium."
