The TRA award was for Environmental & Sustainable Management and acknowledged the steady progress made by the Association in developing its Responsible Recycler Scheme for end of life tyres.
The East award was accepted on behalf of the Association by its Secretary General Peter Taylor. In a statement afterwards, Peter Taylor thanked East for recognising the pre-eminence of the Responsible Recycler Scheme in the U.K. tyre market place and for honouring the association in this public way at such an early stage in its development.
