TRIB Announces New International Member

(Akron/Tire Review) Teijin Twaron has recently joined the Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB).

Located in the Netherlands, Teijin Twaron is an international company that has developed a product called Sulfron 3000 that reportedly improves the performance of tire tread compounds. The company became a TRIB member as a way to introduce its product to retreaders worldwide, said TRIB.

“TRIB continues to grow internationally as more and more companies in the retread industry throughout the world realize that TRIB is the only international retread industry association,” added Harvey Brodsky, TRIB’s managing director.

Omni United, under its flagship, Radar Tires brand, has signed a multi-year contract with the Singapore Golf Association (SGA). Under this partnership, touring professionals who have previously represented Singapore at an elite amateur level and recently turned professional will receive financial support for their training and competition-related expenses as they embark on the early stages of their professional careers, Omni United said.
