The event opens on Tuesday, Feb. 5 with the TMC Exhibition & Reception at the Orange County Convention Center from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
TIA’s program continues on Wednesday, Feb. 6 with the TMC trade show from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by the opening session from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. featuring speeches by Tavio Headley of ATA who will look at the economy, and Don Shea, president of the RMA, who will provide an outlook for the tire industry. This session and following seminars will be held at the Rosen Centre Hotel, adjacent to the convention center.
From 4:45 to 5:30 p.m., Marvin Bozarth, TIA senior technical consultant, will moderate a presentation, “Chamber Fires: How to Prevent Them, What to Do When They Happen, and What to Do After They Happen.” Immediately following that, from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., Bozarth and Kevin Rohlwing, TIA senior vice president of training, will moderate a session, “Minimizing Liability for Commercial Dealers and Retreaders.”
TIA will hold its Networking Reception that evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Rosen Centre Hotel.
The conference picks up on Thursday, Feb. 7 with a series of seminar sessions, all at the convention center:

TPMS for Trucks, 9 to 9:45 a.m.
Improving Plant Efficiency, 10 to 10:45 a.m.
Improving Envelope Life/New Buffing Rasp Technology, 11 to 11:45 a.m.
Earthmover Tire Repair, 3:15 to 4 p.m.
Central Tire Inflation Systems/Identification and Service, 4:15 to 5 p.m.
TIA will hold a Networking Luncheon from noon to 1 p.m., followed by its Tire Manufacturers Forum, where dealers and retreaders can discuss industry issues with representatives of the major tiremakers. That session will run from 1:30 to 3 p.m. (Tire Review/Akron)
