Shops who invest in Hunter Engineering’s unmanned inspection equipment now can use the Hunter Quick Pit, the company’s new single-pour solution that Hunter says simplifies the concrete work to install Hunter inspection equipment.
Hunter says its Quick Pit was created to minimize disruption to shops’ service drive during the installation of inspection equipment.
During the installation process, a service drive can go from floor-cut to smooth concrete in as little as eight hours, Hunter says.
False activation incidents involve the ABS modulator taking over braking or intervening to restore vehicle stability.
The 2012 model year marked the first time that electronic stability control (ESC) became a standard, mandated feature on vehicles sold in America. The government calculated that it would cost less than $400 per vehicle for the additional sensors to measure the yaw and lateral acceleration. With changes to the software in the ABS module, stability control could be applied to most cars and trucks.
Applications are available for many of the most popular trucks and additional applications are currently in development, the company says.
The program, which also delivers coverage for Asian and domestic vehicles, features a range of OE-quality disc brake rotors designed to meet specific vehicle and customer applications.
The company says its preassembled units eliminate the need for specialty tools or a press.
