Michelin Ranked as Top Employer by Minority Engineer Magazine

Minority Engineer magazine has ranked Michelin North America as No. 14 on its annual Top 50 Employer list.

Michelin North America, Inc. has announced that it has been selected as the No. 14 employer for Minority Engineer magazine’s Top 50 Employer list.

As the only tire manufacturer represented in the list, Michelin was included based on the results of an annual survey conducted in 2017 with randomly selected readers of Minority Engineer magazine. The survey results will be published in the magazine’s 2018 winter edition.

“At Michelin, we believe diversity and inclusion are essential, because we know that our differences make us stronger,” said David Stafford, chief human resources officer for Michelin North America. “Our employees stay at Michelin because they have a career with a purpose at a company with a purpose. Michelin’s culture is based on respect for people, with extensive career development and recognition.”

Minority Engineer is a career magazine for students, entry-level and professional engineers who are members of minority groups. Each year readers select the top U.S. companies and government agencies for which they would most prefer to work, or believe would provide a positive working environment for engineers who are members of minority groups.
