The Nokian Hakkapelliitta 9 features an adaptive new stud technology to ensure the vehicle behaves safely and logically in severe weather. It also has a new tread pattern offering stable bare-road handling, comfortable silent riding and improved fuel economy.

“Our teams worked tirelessly to produce such a safe and comfortable winter tire, leveraging 80 years and millions miles driven on Hakkapeliittas,” said Tommi Heinonen, head of Nokian Tyres in North America. “We are humbled and honored that the Nokian Hakkapelliita 9 has received the Popular Science Best of What’s New Award.”
