Bridgestone Americas’ Wilson, N.C., passenger tire plant earned a General Motors Supplier Quality Excellence Award for 2016.

We are honored to be recognized by GM for the delivery of high quality products that meet the dynamic needs of the driving public,” said Michael Darr, Wilson plant manager. “We are proud of the Wilson team that has achieved numerous safety awards, in addition to this prestigious recognition.”
Wilson is currently undergoing a major expansion, an investment of up to $344 million in the facility over the next 10 years, Bridgestone said.
