American Tire Distributors has hired Rebecca Sinclair as its new chief people officer. Sinclair will report directly to Stuart Schuette, president and CEO of ATD.
“Rebecca’s title reflects the commitment the company has to our employees and their development” said Schuette. “Through her leadership, we will focus on a people first strategy to better engage our teams, strengthen our recruiting and retention efforts, and position ATD as an employer of choice.”
Sinclair has two decades of HR experience. She has previously worked with Southeastern Grocers, Hooters LLC, Clear Channel Media, Starbucks and Victoria’s Secret Stores.
Sinclair has an MBA in International Business from The University of Texas at Arlington and B.A. in Interpersonal and Rhetorical Communications from Iowa State University. She also holds a graduate certificate in Asian Business Studies from Tongji University in Shanghai.
