Perham, Minn., authorities have determined a faulty waste oil burner was the likely cause of the fire that destroyed an OK Tire in the city last Tuesday night, local media reports.
After watching surveillance video, it appeared the fire started close to the burner used to heat the building, which was located at the north end of the tire shop.
The blaze engulfed the shop around 10 p.m. last Tuesday and took 15 fire departments to contain the fire around midnight. The building was completely destroyed and there were no reported injuries.
