Goodyear Asks For ‘Blimpworthy Stories’ With New Contest

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has launched the new “Your Blimpworthy Story” contest to recognize community members in the Dallas/Fort Worth-area, the home of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic at AT&T Stadium.

Now through Dec. 4, members of the Dallas/Fort Worth-area can nominate a friend, family member, mentor or local community leader who demonstrates “Blimpworthy” attributes such as hard work, determination and grit that make the neighborhood a better place, Goodyear said.

“Blimpworthy is all about the hard work that is required to succeed on and off the field and we are pleased to recognize some determined individuals who are delivering tangible results and benefiting their communities,” said Seth Klugherz, Goodyear’s North American director of marketing.

To enter the contest, fans can visit www.BlimpworthyStory.com to submit their nominations, which a 200-word or less entry that highlights Blimpworthy characteristics the nominee put in action. Goodyear will award 62 Dallas/Fort Worth-area winners and their nominators an exclusive football experience, which includes an opportunity to hold the U.S. flag during the pregame ceremonies and one standing-room-only ticket each to the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic at AT&T Stadium on Jan. 2, 2017.
