2016 Lou Scoras Memorial Golf Outing Scheduled

The 12th annual 2016 Lou Scoras Memorial Golf Outing will take place Aug. 29 at the Colonia Country Club in Colonia, N.J., hosted by the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ).

The event pays tribute to Scoras, a beloved former board member and industry veteran, and raises money in his name.

Funds will be used to help “engage and inspire the next generation of automotive technicians to follow in his footsteps.”

The event starts with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start, followed by an evening dinner celebration and prizes. Details are available at aaspnj.org.

Yokohama Rubber shared its deepest condolences and sympathies to the families who have lost loved ones and to all those who have been affected by the earthquake in Eastern Taiwan. In response, Yokohama Rubber and its employee-backed Yokohama Magokoro Fund said it will donate a combined ¥1 million (approx. $6,380) through the Japanese Red Cross Society to support relief efforts in the region.
