As tire distributor RHD Tire Inc. continues to grow, the company has relocated its headquarters from downtown Grand Rapids, Mich., to Wyoming, Mich.
Founded in 1972, RHD was originally located in downtown Grand Rapids and moved to its former facility in Grand Rapids 2008.
The company’s new headquarters building is located at 650 36th St in Wyoming, Mich. The 108,000-sq.-ft. facility houses RHD’s administrative functions and a warehouse to support RHD’s 55,000-sq.-ft. metro Detroit location, the company said. Additionally, the RHD’s staff has grown from 12 employees in 2006 to its current staff of 55.
“We’re excited to start this new chapter and are thankful for our many loyal customers and employees,” said co- Kevin Haviland, RHD co-owner. “The new location gives us nearly 200,000 total square feet in Michigan, facilitating RHD’s continued growth strategy by allowing additional lines of business and greater efficiencies.”
RHD distributes passenger and light truck tires, and sells brands such as Bridgestone, Goodyear, Pirelli, Michelin, Yokohama, Hankook and Continental.
