Bauer Built Adds Service Location in Bismarck

Durand, Wis.-based Bauer Built has opened a new commercial service location in Bismarck, N.D.

“The state of North Dakota is underserved in the commercial tire business,” said Tad Bauer, president. “We’ve outgrown the ability to serve these customers effectively from our Fargo location; and by opening in Bismarck, we can deliver products and services critical to this market.”

Founded 71 years ago, Bauer Built services the Midwest with tires and expanded light mechanical services. With the addition of this location, the company now has 37 locations, seven Michelin Retread Technology retread plants and four wheel refinishing operations.

Yokohama Rubber donates to Eastern Taiwan earthquake relief

Through its Yokohama Magokoro Fund, Yokohama Rubber will donate a combined ¥1 million (approx. $6,380).

Yokohama Rubber shared its deepest condolences and sympathies to the families who have lost loved ones and to all those who have been affected by the earthquake in Eastern Taiwan. In response, Yokohama Rubber and its employee-backed Yokohama Magokoro Fund said it will donate a combined ¥1 million (approx. $6,380) through the Japanese Red Cross Society to support relief efforts in the region.
