Live at SEMA: Emico Unveils New Logo, Branding

Emico, manufacturer of automotive catalytic converters for aftermarket applications, down pipes and exhaust system components, unveiled a revamped logo in the wake of its sale to Advanced Clean Air Technologies Global (ACAT).

The companies unveiled Emico’s new branding in their shared display at this week’s SEMA Show (booth #25153).The new logo features an “E-sided” or “3E” cube alongside the company name, which has been shortened from its original “Emico Technologies.” The logo has been adapted to work with four different color backgrounds: white, black, light blue and dark blue, colors that align with ACAT Global’s branding. The new logos were designed by Code Four, a creative agency based in Huntington Beach, Calif.

“The new Emico logo is distinctive and is an easily recognizable image, which will increase brand awareness and recognition in the aftermarket. We hope this new logo will help identify and grow the Emico brand for years to come,” said Joseph Moch, CEO at Emico and ACAT Global. “Using Emico as the new brand name is more consistent with how our customers know the company and it allows our brand to better align with market brand references.”

The branding will ultimately be reflected on the company’s products, packaging, web site and catalog.
