Live at SEMA: Aeolus Launches UHP A/S SteeringAce XAS

Aeolus Tires unveiled its SteeringAce XAS (AU02), an ultra high performance, asymmetrical, all-season tire that the company said provides an exceptional value at a competitive price for discriminating drivers.

The SteeringAce XAS (AU02) is currently available in 37 high volume SKUs ranging from 15- through 20-inch wheel diameters and 55 through 35 series.

“The SteeringAce XAS (AU02) is the best of both worlds proposition,” said Mike Leverington, U.S. general manager for Aeolus. “Providing ultra high performance products helps our retail partners by catering to consumers willing to invest in higher quality products, as well as those who crave the ultra high performance look and feel. Now, they can have those benefits at a terrific value.”

The tire – which Aeolus said provides all-season traction, superior wet and dry handling, comfort and low noise – features: four circumferential grooves to maximize wet traction by improving water evacuation; a center rib design for improved steering feel, stability and treadwear; advanced silica nanotechnology for dry, wet and light snow traction; and a rim protector for wheel protection.

The tiremaker said popular fitments include: Mercedes E350 and E550; Volvo S80; Porsche Boxster; VW Tiguan 2.0T; Hyundai Elantra GLS; Lexus IS350; BMW 525i and 525xi; MX Miata Grand Touring; and Audi A4 2.0T and A3 2.0T.
