The Big O Tires location in Dublin, Calif., is celebrating 40 years in business with a special event this weekend.

Opened in 1973 by brothers Ken and Stan Cherry, the location has been a family operation. In 1980, Ken’s son joined the team with business partner Greg Mitchell. Today, Bruce’s children, Jason and Jessica are also involved in the business.

“We have truly enjoyed serving the Dublin community for their tire and auto service needs over the past four decades,” said Bruce Cherry. “Forty years in business is true testament to the great customers we serve.”
The Dublin location is one of six Big O Tire shops the Cherry family owns and operates.

Bruce was recently inducted to the Big O Tires Hall of Fame for his contribution to the brand.

“The Dublin store’s commitment to outstanding customer service has been a part of their legacy since day one,” said Kevin Kormondy, executive vice president & COO, Big O Tires, LLC. “They are true brand stewards in promoting the Team You Trust to each and every customer, each and every day.”
