Leviathan Among 5,000 Fastest-Growing Companies

Brooklyn, N.Y.-based tire wholesaler Leviathan Corp. has been named one of the "5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in America" by Inc. Magazine.

The recognition, which will appear in the September 2013 issue, marks the seventh time Leviathan has made the list.

"We are honored that Inc.comincluded Leviathan for the seventh time in its selection of ‘5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in America,’” said Leviathan’s Brian Cohn. “We have worked hard through these troubling economic times to continue growth of Leviathan and are happy to see our work pay off with this recognition.”

Leviathan is a wholesale distributor of OTR, industrial and TBR tires through 12 warehouses located throughout the U.S. The company recently launched an online presence with live inventory through otrusa.com.

Yokohama Rubber donates to Eastern Taiwan earthquake relief

Through its Yokohama Magokoro Fund, Yokohama Rubber will donate a combined ¥1 million (approx. $6,380).

Yokohama Rubber shared its deepest condolences and sympathies to the families who have lost loved ones and to all those who have been affected by the earthquake in Eastern Taiwan. In response, Yokohama Rubber and its employee-backed Yokohama Magokoro Fund said it will donate a combined ¥1 million (approx. $6,380) through the Japanese Red Cross Society to support relief efforts in the region.
