The start of this year’s Brityrex International is still more than two months away, yet organizer ECI International reports the show is heading for a sell-out and the amount of exhibitor floor space still available at Manchester’s EventCity has dropped to under 10%.
Commenting on the interest shown so far, ECI International managing director Paul Farrant said, “this is the right show, in the right place at the right time. The tire sector is facing imminent law changes for tire labelling and tire pressure monitoring systems and exhibitors are very keen to show how they can help the trade deal with the changes.
“Given the high levels of interest, our message to anyone still looking to exhibit is to act fast, as space and locations are now at a premium,” he added.
In addition to the abovementioned regulatory changes, ECI believes the large U.K. tire market’s highly competitive nature is another important factor contributing toward the success of this year’s Brityrex. “We have dozens of brands at the show from around the world and all of them are there to establish a presence in the U.K. by meeting new distribution partners,” Farrant observed.
Hot on the heels of the recent announcement that the Michelin Training Center will exhibit at Brityrex for the first time, ECI has confirmed a string of other new exhibitors, including Harvie Tyres, Tyre Bay Direct, Maritime Cargo Services and King Pin Wheels.
ECI’s visitor pre-registration service is now open for the show, and ECI recommends pre-registration in order to guarantee hassle-free, fast-track entry to EventCity. Further details can be found on the eci-international.com website. (Tyres & Accessories)
