National Tire Safety Week 2016 has been scheduled for May 29-June 4, according to the Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA).
National Tire Safety Week is part of RMA’s “Be Tire Smart – Play Your PART” program. The year-round program works to help drivers learn simple steps to keep their tires are in good working condition, the RMA said.
“National Tire Safety Week is all about reminding busy consumers of the importance of taking good care of their tires,” said Anne Forristall Luke, RMA president and CEO. “Properly maintained tires have a proven, positive impact on safety, save consumers money and benefit the environment through greater fuel economy.”
