Utah Bill Proposes Ending Safety Inspections

Legislators have introduced a bill (House Bill 319) in Utah that would eliminate safety inspection requirements for certain vehicles in the state to obtain a certificate to be registered and operate on a highway.

Current Utah law mandates that vehicles must have safety inspections based on the age of the vehicle, with models 10 years old and older required to pass safety inspections every year.

The Automotive Service Association said it opposes House Bill 319 and is encouraging Utah repair shops to also oppose the legislation. For more information from ASA, visit its legislative website at www.TakingTheHill.com.

GRI recently organized a training program titled "Management of household finance under current economic conditions" at the Ingiriya Rubber Collecting Center in Sri Lanka, South Asia led by Shashika Nimali, an NLP practitioner and life coach. The company said this initiative provided women in the industry with essential skills and knowledge to effectively manage household finances. GRI's tailored training sessions equipped participants with tools for informed decision-making, ultimately fostering greater financial security and independence, the company said.
