For the second time in just a few months, thieves have stolen tires from Cross Dillion Tires in Lincoln, Neb.
According to police, robbers drove off with a $30,000 tractor-trailer and roughly $10,000 worth of tires this weekend. The crooks cut through a chain link fence sometime between midnight and 3 a.m. on Sunday morning to drive away with the truck, authorities said.
The police are looking for white Freightliner with Nebraska license plate SEJ 357 and Cross Dillon logos on the semi’s doors as well as the 40-ft. trailer it was pulling.
In early August, thieves stole 47 semi truck tires worth $18,000 from Cross Dillion. Authorities believe the two thefts could be connected.
