Brighton, Mich.-based TPMS management software company Tiremetrix has launched a two-part training series encompassing the latest in TPMS technology, service and parts.
Tiremetrix TPMS training includes over 60 minutes of videos divided into nine modules. The five modules cover entry-level TPMS education for new tire installers and sales associates. The other four advanced modules cover the latest in TPMS architecture such as WAL, PAL, and LocSync platforms from OEMs.
The new training modules are available free with all Tiremetrix TPMS software, including TPMS Manager and TPMS Speed. The training is also available for use in any e-learning LMS application, as it is SCORM compliant and available for upload.
“Tiremetrix worked with the Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association (AMRA), in developing best-practices for TPMS service that align with Motorist Assurance Program (MAP) Uniform Inspection and Communication Standards ,” according to Tiremetrix president Joe Donehue. “TPMS is continuously evolving and advancing, both from the OEMs and within the aftermarket. We wanted to deliver truly unbiased and up-to-date training curriculum focusing on the realities of TPMS, without any influence from TPMS stakeholders and their competing technologies. In remaining industry-neutral we can help the shops understand exactly what they are working with and how to fix it, regardless of whose sensors they buy, or whose tool they use.”
