TIA Launches Online Webinar Series, First Edition Today

Expanding its educational opportunities for tire dealers and others in the industry, TIA announced an aggressive campaign of twice-monthly educational webinars. The first of the webinar series is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET today.

Focused on the business side of today’s tire dealership – retail, wholesale or commercial – the online webinar series is open to TIA members and non-members alike.

“TIA membership has a significant array of benefits that provide a variety of opportunities for tire dealers to gain that competitive edge, including risk management and TPMS resources. This new webinar series will help tire industry professionals take their business to the next level,” said TIA director of membership Wilson Beach.

The 30-minute webinars will be held on the first and third Wednesdays of every month at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. Pacific) to accommodate as many tire dealers from coast-to-coast as possible during regular business hours.

GRI recently conducted programs in Sri Lanka to empower women and motivate children under its Green x Circle initiative. The company said these endeavors aimed to address the needs of the community, focusing on both women empowerment and youth motivation.

GRI recently organized a training program titled "Management of household finance under current economic conditions" at the Ingiriya Rubber Collecting Center in Sri Lanka, South Asia led by Shashika Nimali, an NLP practitioner and life coach. The company said this initiative provided women in the industry with essential skills and knowledge to effectively manage household finances. GRI's tailored training sessions equipped participants with tools for informed decision-making, ultimately fostering greater financial security and independence, the company said.
