The Rubber Association of Canada has finalized the agenda of its Tire & Rubber Summit, which will take place June 16 at the Kingsbridge Conference Centre & Institute in King City, Ont.
The event, themed "Driving Sustainability," will offer valuable information for tire dealers, dealer associations and OEMs, as well as tire manufacturers, rubber recyclers and compounders, retreaders, carbon black suppliers, and rubber equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
The one-day program will offer the following sessions:
Rubber Materials Outlook A panel of experts from Canada and U.S. will identify the global challenges and trends affecting the supply and demand of products and materials used in rubber manufacturing.
Rubber Manufacturing Outlook – A Panel Discussion Rubber industry leaders will share the challenges and opportunities they experience today and their outlook for key market segments.
Driving Sustainability: Getting to Zero Waste Today, with advances in technology and equipment, and continuing pressure from governments and customers alike, driving towards zero waste is closer at hand.
Tire Industry Outlook – A Panel Discussion A panel of tire industry leaders will discuss the major challenges facing the industry in Canada and also talk about their product innovations that help drive their company sustainability targets.
Attendance is $349 per person ($299 for RAC Members), and the Chairman’s Reception & Dinner is $149. In addition to the summit, on June 17 the RAC will host its annual golf tournament at St. Andrew’s Valley Golf Course. The $119 per person golf price includes green fees and cart.
