Georgia police arrested an active duty Army soldier in the April 23 shooting death of a Savannah tire dealer.
Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan police said the 31-year-old soldier shot and killed 30-year-old Armondo Montes, owner of Brothers Tire Repair, following an argument at the Savannah store. The suspect surrendered to military police at Hunter Army Air Field and is being held in the Chatham County Detention Center.
No other details have been released.
