SEMA Ups the Ante to Draw Exhibitors

SEMA Show organizers announced two new programs to entice exhibitors for the 2009 event in Las Vegas.

Qualified exhibitors have been offered “a unique and radical payment plan option to ease cash-flow concerns,” according to SEMA, giving potential exhibitors as much as 12 months to pay for booth space rental.

The financing option was developed to assist SEMA Show exhibitors “with five or more years of seniority points” to participate in the 2009 event. In previous years, exhibitors were required to pay in full months before the show. The financing option features a competitive, low interest rate and has exhibitors submitting final payment as late as May 3, 2010, SEMA said.

In addition, SEMA is awarding two seniority points for participating in this year’s show. Previously, exhibitors earned a single point each year. The seniority points determine a company’s place in the booth selection process.
