Reifen China, the 1st Asian Essen Tyre Show jointly organised by Messe Essen GmbH and China United Rubber (Group) Corporation (CURC) of China, is all set to open the doors to international and industrial interaction from 14 to 16 November, 2007.
Reifen, recognised as the No. 1 tyre show with 46 years of history, is expected to bring together under one roof global tyre majors, suppliers and buyers who are all targeting the fast growing Chinese rubber industry.
Hailed as the largest event in Asia for rubber machinery, chemicals, raw materials and finished and semi-finished products, RubberTech China 2007, the 7th International Exhibition of Rubber Technology, is guaranteed to attract a host of high-profile business professionals throughout the People’s Republic of China and around the world. Strongly supported by China Rubber Industry Association and other specialised associations and manufacturers, this event is set to chart new frontiers when it opens its door to the trade and professional visitors, according to China United Rubber (Group) Corporation, the organisers.
Global export-oriented companies have found a fast-growing Chinese market as the best bet for zooming sales. International players have found that the industrial scenario in China is excellent for the tyre market. China is not only the largest car market in Asia, but with over 300 million tyres produced, it is also the largest tyre market in the world, said Joachim Henneke, chairman and CEO of Messe Essen.
China is also the largest consumer of natural and synthetic rubber and fast emerging as the leader in rubber machinery and chemicals, points out Wei Yun, Chairman and President of China United Rubber Group. The two parallel shows will provide China a global window to showcase its products, he adds.
Each of the two joint venture partners possess the ideal prerequisites to make the Reifen show a success.
While CURC is inputting know-how, scouting for possibilities and boosting existing sales channels on the Chinese market, Essen is guaranteeing the pull to the Reifen fair concept and providing the professional management of an internationally-oriented fair organisation. Both sides can make use of their own competence and can complement each other.
Additional support is being provided by Bundesverband Reifenhandel und Vulkaniseur-Handwerk (BRU – the Federal Association of the Tyre Trade and the Vulcanisers’ Skilled Trade, Bonn).
Rubber Asia is a media partner for the show.
