Plaza Tire Service Opens 51st Store

Plaza Tire Service has opened a new retail store, expanding its reach to Paducah, Ky.

The new location brings the Cape Girardeau, Mo.-based company’s total store count to 51 total, and three stores in Paducah.

Construction on the state-of-the-art seven-bay facility began in August. It consists of 5,720 square feet of operating space including the service center and showroom. 

Plaza Tire Service began serving the Paducah area with its first local store in June 1985, followed by a second in April 1993. Another neighboring store in Metropolis, Ill. has also been in operation since June 1985 in addition to the Mayfield and Benton stores that opened in August 1996 and July 2002 respectively.

O2 Investment Partners revealed that Straightaway Tire & Auto, an independent, full-service aftermarket automotive repair and service platform, has retained John Wafler and Jason Servidio to drive platform-wide internal training initiatives.
