Michelin North America has launched a new Oliver-brand precure retread that has received EPA SmartWay fuel efficiency verification.
The Oliver ULP Trailer (Ultra Low Profile) was developed for retreading super wide radials.
Oliver’s new ULP Trailer employs VDi Plus, a visual depth indicator that reduces the retention of foreign objects in the tread face,” said Philip Boarts, MNA retread product category manager. “The retread, pressed in Oliver’s Black Armor compound, has unique properties that contribute to incredible treadwear and very low rolling resistance. This introduction provides an excellent retread solution for the next generation of wide base singles.”
