New Concepts From Rema Tip Top

At this year's Reifen exhibition, the emphasis for Rema Tip Top Automotive will be on new service concepts.

In addition, the company’s complete range of products and services will be on show on the 900 m2 stand and highly qualified specialists will be present to explain and demonstrate these products and services.

There are only a few exhibitors who offer comprehensive system solutions, covering the whole range from high-quality products, through services to training and expertise. As an example of the latter, Rema Tip Top will be demonstrating its new training truck in a further exhibition area near the main stand. The truck provides mobile training concepts with the emphasis placed on runflats and UHP tyres. It also provides companies with a cost-saving option for training on site.

The training truck will be the venue of a daily tyre-changing contest, where Germany’s best tyre fitter will be selected. The winners will be awarded attractive prizes, and will also be featured on Rema Tip Top’s Web site after the show.

The issue of runflat and UHP tyres will not be addressed with the training truck alone, as there will also be many specialists at the stand to expertly demonstrate the use of the Runflat Kit and tyre-changers such as the Butler Aikido. Rema Tip Top always places great emphasis on its training programmes, as only well trained specialists will be able to use materials and machines correctly and safely.

"We will focus, amongst other things, on our new concept entitled ‘Planning, Building and Equipment Provision for Modern Workshops,’” says Matthias Rolinski, Head of Rema Tip Top Automotive. He continues: "Rema Tip Top is a complete system supplier. Its portfolio includes a comprehensive service concept, which fully covers the design, construction and equipment provision for workshops for the customer. This means the customer has only one contact to assist him, from the moment the first earth is turned to the installation of the most modern workshop equipment."

Today’s tyre service shops have to think of providing enhanced service. Rema Tip Top has responded to this by adding the product line ‘Car Diagnosis and Service’ to its portfolio. On display will be car diagnosis tools such as the ‘Profiler 500’, the ‘Fleetinspector Basic/Pro’, and air conditioning service tools, which are surprisingly easy to handle.

Also, today the certification of tyre repair specialists is becoming more and more important. Therefore Rema Tip Top will also provide information about the development of the MTR (Master Tyre Repairers) and OTR concepts for the worldwide certification of tyre repair specialists.

Several product lines have been renewed and extended; for instance, the professional mounting lubricants will appear in a new design under the new brand name REMAXX. This line will also include new products. (Tyres & Accessories/Staffordshire, U.K.)
