During the course of 2011, the CGS Group will introduce a new Mitas branded range of tires for use in row-crop agriculture into its global markets.
This Mitas range will replace the existing Continental brand row crop tires that Mitas has been producing under license since 2004.
“Mitas brings premium quality to the row-crop tire market, which is often neglected by major tire brands,” said Andrew Mabin, marketing and sales director of CGS Tyres. “Initially, Mitas will offer 12 iyre sizes to meet farmers’ needs in row-crop agriculture.”
By mid-2011, Mitas will begin producing this dozen-strong range, which includes four all-new sizes: 270/95R32, 300/95R46, 320/90R50 and 320/90R54. The line-up on offer, says CGS, reflects the specific needs of European and North American farmers. The new sizes will be available by September 2011. (Tyres & Accessories)
