Faced with rising raw material costs, Michelin said it will increase prices in Europe across all tire ranges in the near future.
The company’s passenger car and light truck tires will see a 5% average increase, which will be gradually applied between April 1 and June 1.
For new and retreaded truck tires, the increase will average 7% in Europe (excluding Russia) and will be implemented progressively between March 1 and April 1.
Prices for ag tires in replacement markets across Europe will be raised by an average of 4%, the increases being gradually implemented between April 1 and May 1.
In the earthmover tire segment, prices will rise by up to 7.5%, effective March 1, and will be applicable to most European markets.
