Michelin North America has settled its lawsuit against Sudduth Tire Co. for allegedly defrauding the tiremaker of more than $3.2 million, according to the Greenville News.
According to the newspaper, Michelin did not disclose the full terms of the settlement. The U.S. District Court in South Carolina has dismissed the case.
Michelin stated: “The parties have agreed to resolve this matter.”
Michelin filed a lawsuit against Sudduth in January. Michelin alleged that Sudduth used fraudulently obtained credit to obtain $3,246,421.97 worth of tires from the tiremaker.
