At its Feb. 3 extraordinary meeting, the Lanxess AG Supervisory Board agreed to revoke the contract of chief financial officer and Board of Management member Matthias Zachert.
This measure was taken at Zachert’s request, Lanxess reports. The 43-year-old served on the Lanxess Board of Management since 2004.
Board of Management chairman Axel Heitmann said: “My fellow members of the Board and I deeply regret the decision of Matthias Zachert and would like to thank him for his long and successful work at Lanxess. He has provided a great service to the company and significantly contributed to the financial performance over the last years as well the current financial strength of the group.”
Zachert’s roles within the company will be filled by Bernhard Düttmann, who joins Lanxess from Beiersdorf AG and begins in his new capacity on April 1. (Tyres & Accessories)
