Ford to Sponsor Bowl Game

Ford Motor Co. signed a multiyear agreement with the Detroit Lions for its Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center to sponsor a college football bowl game. The Quick Lane Bowl will take place annually at Ford Field in Detroit. quicklanebowl

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to help kick off a new football tradition,” said Frederiek Toney, a vice president at Ford. “With more than 700 Quick Lanes available in communities across the U.S., we’re hoping to continue to raise awareness among consumers about the fast service, value and convenience our Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center delivers.”

The Quick Lane Bowl will feature teams from the Big Ten Conference and Atlantic Coast Conference. This year’s game is scheduled for Dec. 26 at 4:30 p.m. and will air nationally on ESPN.
